The ICARUS project, funded by the European Union, is developing and evaluating three upcycling projects. Alongside environmental impacts, the project is also assessing the social impacts associated with these activities and processes.
Using the Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) methodology, ICARUS aims to understand which social issues are most relevant to stakeholders and identify potential social hotspots requiring further attention, monitoring or improvement.
Your perspective matters
We are inviting stakeholders involved in or potentially affected by the ICARUS projects to complete a short questionnaire covering four groups:
- Workers — health and safety, fair remuneration, work-life balance, non-discrimination and freedom of association
- Local communities — community engagement, health and safety, skills development and local economic development
- Consumers — end-user safety, accessibility, responsible communication and affordability
- SMEs — opportunities for SMEs and sustainable innovation
For each issue, you will be asked to rate its relevance to the ICARUS project from 1 (not at all relevant) to 5 (very relevant).
There are no right or wrong answers. Your responses will help the ICARUS team and SocialFare understand stakeholder priorities and focus the social impact assessment where it matters most.
The questionnaire takes around 10 minutes to complete.
